Honda
On intake manifold. 2 bolts (12mm). Clean passages with carb cleaner and wire brush.
Toyota
Electric EGR on newer models. 2 bolts + electrical connector. Clean port with cleaner.
Ford
DPFE sensor often fails before EGR itself. Check DPFE first — cheaper fix.
Volkswagen
EGR cooler is common failure on TDI. Soot buildup. Clean or replace cooler too.
BMW
EGR on diesel models. Swirl flap delete is common performance mod but not emissions legal.
