Pro Tip Fan works only on high = resistor. Usually 2 screws under passenger dash.

Next to blower motor under passenger dash. 2 screws. Common failure — burns out.
Toyota
Adjacent to blower motor. 2 screws. Connector with 4-5 wires.
Ford
Near blower motor. 2 screws. If connector is melted, replace pigtail too.
Extra tools: Replacement pigtail connector
BMW
Called 'final stage resistor.' Different part number than standard resistor. Check model.
Chevrolet
Near blower motor. 2 screws. Check connector for heat damage.
